• ABMA-ABEC-1F Precision or better
• ABMA Standard 26.2 internal geometry, contact angles and as assembled clearances.
• Ring Material: 52100 vacuum degassed or spec 6440/6441
• ASTM A295 AMS 6440/6441
• Other materials, AISI 440c, 17-4 ph stainless steel, M-50, ceramic (silicon nitride),and other materials.
• Heat Treat: Rc 60-64 through hardened & stress relieved.
• Balls: 52100 grade 25 (grade 10 for higher than precision 1)
• ABMA Std 10
• Ceramic balls (silicon nitride) and 440c ss
• Retainers: ASTM B-36 brass, nylon, phenolic, steel, 440C, 17-4 SS and many platings offered for retainers
• Seals: Buna-n stainless steel backed and molded. Many other Materials used ( viton, Teflon & others)
